We offer several options to help you achieve your goals. From private one on one training to even small group training if your friends or family wish to get involved.
Most call our program personal training; however, at KO-101 Boxing it is so much more. Yes, it is done with small classes and one-on-one, and yes it fits your schedule, but you are getting two benefits instead of one. Learn Boxing/Kick boxing while getting into shape. This is something a personal trainer at “COMMERCIAL GYMS” could never offer. Our coaches will not sit by while you workout; they will be right next to you, teaching you, pushing, and motivating you.
Students will practice basic, practical kicking, punching, and self-defense techniques, with a martial arts base, in a group environment. The class will be broken down into different workstations concentrating on different striking and exercise drills. (ex. Bag work, focus mitt work, jump rope, kick shield drills, etc).
This class provides a great cardio workout for all students. These
classes offer many benefits when it comes to fitness. Kick boxing is
great for weight loss and toning. The combination of punching and
kicking provide the best overall workout because it uses the most muscle
groups. While kicking works all the lower body and abs, punching works
arms, chest, shoulders and back.
The abs are used throughout the whole class, stabilizing the body
during kicks and punches, as well as individual ab exercises. This class
also helps increase flexibility, which helps increase blood flow and
circulation. Self confidence may also be increased by allowing one to
learn techniques for defending oneself.
The goal of our boxing programs at KO-101 Boxing is
not to turn you into competitive boxers/kick boxers without direction
or purpose, but to teach life skills and lessons through boxing and kick
boxing. It takes discipline, determination, focus, drive, goal setting
and achieving, perseverance, and many other attributes required through
boxing and kick boxing training. These are great benefits, but KO-101
Boxing offers even more; physical health benefits.
Many Americans are becoming more sedentary and later may be at risk for adult health problems such as, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart disease.
