"Coach Byers and Coach Flowers,
I cannot thank you enough for helping me get my son, Dasen, involved in your program. he wants to be there and I really did not think it would work or last. You have given me hope and an amazing opportunity for my son. He really likes it there and is excited about coming each time. It was his decision to go for another 3 months. He is talking about it long term. I appreciate the mentoring you are doing and extending yourselves to help him and pay him the attention he needs to be involved. I am amazed at his willingness to come there and try his best. I am hoping this program is the beginning of new and better things for Dasen.
You have no idea how grateful i am to you both for taking the time to work with him and to genuinely care. It is obvious he has respect for you both and for the program you have there. I am looking so forward to the months to come to see his progress. It takes a village to raise a child and I feel confident that we found the right place for him to be at the right time. The values and training you are giving to him, he will carry with him his entire life and for that, i will never be able to show you the appreciation I have for that. Thank you so much! Looking forward to getting him in the ring. his self confidence is building each day. You guys are a big part of that. I love my son more than anything in this world and I appreciate your help and guidance. From the bottom of my heart................THANK YOU."

"Coach Byers,
At the end of the summer, Alan started running with the J.J. Pearce Cross Country team seeking extra endurance for KO-101 boxing. He started running once a week for about 2 miles. Over the summer, Alan worked hard with boxing 2-4 days a week at KO-101 as well. When the school year started, Alan had a tough decision to make. He only had so many hours in a day to balance with his school work. Several members of the cross country team were able to recruit Alan to join the official High School team which practices for 1.5 hours five days a week and competes every Saturday morning.
As a parent, I am simply happy to see my son fit into any atheletic team. Prior to KO-101, Alan had shown no interest nor had the appropriate conditioning to be competitive in any High School age sport. He ran his first mile under pressure during a KO-101 work-out. Later, he started running a mile here or there and recording his time. Within a week, Alan was able to out run me in the mile.
This past weekend, Alan competed in his very first Cross Country Track tournament and finished in the middle of the pack among his peers for a 3.1 mile race. Not bad considering many others on the team have competed for years. Alan is only starting in track. He still knows the KO-101 Boxing program is much tougher than simply running. He knows that Cross Country track competition involves elbow-to-elbow pushing and shoving. His footwork from KO-101 boxing is solid and his defense is strong enough for him to work his way through a crowd.
I simply wanted to Thank-You and the entire KO-101 coaching staff, for the difference they have made in Alan's life."

"I am 54 years young and have three sons from the ages of 12-18. I chose to enroll in boxing class and training to have something we could discuss and relate to. Boxing training has certainly provided the one on one time with each of them and as a family group. The time we spend each week in training has helped us enjoy on another much more. Now I also find myself improving physically along with my boys. I also found that training has able me to release built up tension from the work week as well.
My sons and I have lost weight, gotten stronger and fitter since we joined. My love handles have actually started to melt away. My boys have also become more athletic at home and shown great improvement in school. They study harder and their grades have improved, all due to knowing that we get to go train together. Coach Byers runs a great program that is easy to follow and definitely gets the desired results. I would recommend his program to any and all that might want to get into shape and for those who really want to learn the skills of boxing and kick boxing.
MUCH THANKS COACH"

"I just wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude in what your program has done for my son, Trevor Pierce. Trevor had expressed an interest in boxing, but I was the one that was nervous about him taking that path especially with him being only 13 years old at the time. Mr. Byers was very understanding and explained everything to my husband and I before Trevor started the training program. There were no promises made of him being the next heavy weight champion of the world and Mr. Byers assured us that before Trevor would actually start boxing that our son would be taught the skills, the fundamentals and conditioning that would be necessary to compete in his boxing/kickboxing program.
Mr. Byers took Trevor under his wing and, as promised, trained Trevor not only with the skills & fundamentals of boxing, but discipline and respect. At the age of 13 ½, Trevor earned several awards, going undefeated in kickboxing and ultimately winning the Dallas Golden Gloves in his division. The discipline that Trevor learned has ultimately helped carry him in other parts of his life such as education, other athletic programs and with his peers.
I have never been prouder as a parent and as impressed with the training style of Mr. Byers. I have recommended other parents to send their children to him. Mr. Byers is not only a skilled and knowledgeable coach, but is a friend and mentor to his students.
He teaches them life skills as well as to defend themselves.
I can’t begin to thank him enough for helping to make Trevor a confident, secure and mature young man. "
